Lyrics: The Birds
Hello, I wrote this today, I was playing about with a melody and these words suited it nicely. My stupid sense of humour shines on through and yes I am unemployed and will most probably be on the dole when I'm back in Wales.
The Birds
I was lost,
Walking the street,
I walked into a wall,
Hit my head and fell asleep.
And I started dreaming,
Of the perfect day,
The birds were singing,
Out my name,
They sang Bradley,
You better wake up,
It is snowing,
My lazy buttercup.
So I woke up
Walked through the snow,
The flakes were glowing,
Blue, green, red and gold.
And I had a daydream,
Of the perfect day,
The birds were singing,
Out my name,
They sang Bradley,
The best thing to do,
Is write an album,
Forget the dole queue.
So I wrote an album,
My Mam gave review,
Said the swearing,
Had turned her bright blue.
And I had premonition,
Of the perfect day,
The birds were singing,
Out my name,
They sang Bradley,
Have you been smoking,
You need some money,
We were only joking.
(spoken)
I hate those fucking birds
I don't even smoke
Anyway, later that night
I started dreaming,
Of the perfect day,
The birds were singing,
Out my name,
They sang Bradley,
Enough is enough,
Don't you think it's time,
For you to grow up?
(spoken)
No, I don't.

First Post
After becoming disillusioned by MySpace I decided to create a blog instead. I'm currently in Australia backpacking and need to return home to finish this design. I'll be returning home in a few weeks, which is a sad thought. This post is just for my reference, so I can look back and reminisce about the time I was house sitting in Brisbane and typing on a very old and barely usable computer.
